This meetup is open to (aspiring) Typelevel users and contributors and anyone curious to learn more about functional programming, no matter your prior experience. We will follow the Typelevel Code of Conduct.

​Why learn functional programming?

​Boris Cherny, creator of Claude Code, recently called Functional Programming in Scala “the one technical book I would recommend to everyone that has had the greatest impact on me as an engineer.” This book is deeply connected to the Typelevel ecosystem, and this event is a special opportunity to learn the concepts it teaches directly from the Typelevel team.
