Why learn functional programming?
Boris Cherny, creator of Claude Code, recently called Functional Programming in Scala “the one technical book I would recommend to everyone that has had the greatest impact on me as an engineer.” This book is deeply connected to the Typelevel ecosystem, and this event is a special opportunity to learn the concepts it teaches directly from the Typelevel team.
