4WARD free dinner with saved food, and learn how to save food yourself 🍽️♻️
Free dinner with saved food, and learn how to save food yourself 🍽️♻️
Did you know that around 1/3 of all produced food is thrown away?
That means huge amounts of resources are wasted, and GHG emissions from producing that food have already happened.
The good news is that there are things we can all do about it.
Join us 29 Sept for a free, vegetarian dinner made with saved food, while learning practical ways to reduce food waste at home and through foodsharing. The dinner will be fully vegetarian, with several vegan dishes, so it's suited for both vegetarians, vegans - and of course meat-eaters as well.
You'll get:
🍽️ A free dinner with saved food
💡 Practical tips and tricks for reducing food waste at home
♻️ An introduction to the organisation foodsharing
🗣️ Stories from experienced foodsharer René and newer foodsharer Sara
🙌 Learn how you can become a foodsharer yourself
Tip: Bring a food container so you can take home any leftovers.
📍 Location
The café of Genossenschaft Kalkbreite
Kalkbreitestrasse 6
8003 ZĂĽrich
To find the café, walk up the big stairs just left of Café BEBEK to the courtyard. Enter the big doors on your right and the café is immediately on your left.
