Three NYC founders get on stage with their startup. You try it out, hear the pitch, and then tell them exactly what's wrong with it. Out loud. To their faces.
No polite feedback forms. No "love the concept." Just honest reactions from people who actually tried it.
This is supposed to be fun. Roast the startup, not the person. Everyone leaves friends (and full of cookies).
HOW IT WORKS
A founder pitches their startup
The room tries it out or watches a live demo
Roast round: take the mic and be specific. "It's ugly" doesn't count. "I tapped this three times and nothing happened" does.
Founders aren't allowed to explain themselves. They just take notes.
Repeat three times.
ARE YOU A FOUNDER? We have 2 pitch slots open. Gen Z founders, student founders, first-time builders: you're especially welcome here. Any stage, any kind of startup, as long as you can show the room something real, whether that's a product they can try or a live demo.
