Robotics club gathering :D

​First gathering for Copenhagen Robotics Club.

​There's no "goto" robotics club in Copenhagen right now (apart from DTU's skylab 😞), which is odd considering how many people here are clearly into it. A Reddit post about starting one got a lot of traction, and since then plenty of people have reached out, most of them currently tinkering on projects alone from their apartments.

​The mix so far:

• ​PhD students

• ​AI and software engineers

• ​Teachers

• ​Hobbyists working on personal builds at home

• ​A surprising number offering to chip in with their own equipment (wholesome)

​This first meetup is intentionally informal (so no tinkering with electronics just yet 🥺). Two things we want to figure out:

• ​Roughly how many people actually want to be part of this

  • ​This will help us with getting an appropriately sized workshop/room

  • ​The more that show up, the higher potential we can poke on some sources of potential sponsorship/funding for some neat equipment

• ​What the club's core purpose should be, we'd like to land on a rough consensus together rather than decide it for everyone :)
