About Event

Join us for a day of sessions where we explore how public-private and civil-military collaboration can accelerate innovation and enable Nordic businesses and R&D centers to become global leaders in Trustworthy Tech.

Why is it important? The UNCTAD estimates that demand for frontier technologies will grow to $16.4 trillion by 2033, of which AI is expected to be $4.7 trillion. How can we trust systems and infrastructure that are being integrated with AI?

Demand for AI Assurance is expected to grow 3x faster than the AI market, and European AI assurance companies need to double their income each year to keep pace with the market.

Europe has a unique combination of expertise in secure IT-OT integration and privacy-enhancing technologies, which are key to securing data across systems and building trust in AI.

Securing our society and critical infrastructure while building global leaders in Trustworthy Tech is a win-win. So what's the hold up?

Europe is working to standardize public R&D procurement, and in Norway, there is a clear need for solutions to increase resilience within municipal and critical sectors. These solutions rely on Norwegian and European security expertise (IT-OT) and next-generation digital infrastructure—resources that individual municipalities and organisations generally are unable to implement on their own.

This event is organised by the "TrustNet" business network, and will bring together leading experts, networks and clusters in securing critical infrastructure representing industry, public sector, investors, and academia. We aim to establish lasting collaborations that result in new R&D projects, procurement, growth, investment, and export for Nordic businesses while addressing security risks and safely increasing productivity.

The TrustNet initiative has received funding from Akershus Fylkeskommune to support coordination and build digital and social trust between partners and across partner networks.

Collaborators for this event include VentureNet AS, Naoris Nordic, Viljr AS, Ræder Bing Advokatfirma, NTNU SFI NORCICS (Norwegian Centre for Cybersecurity in Critical Sectors), NESIOT (Norwegian Ecosystem for Secure IT-OT Integration), AID (Norwegian Centre on AI for Decisions), SFI NorwAI (Norwegian Research Center for AI Innovation), ECSCI (European Cluster for Securing Critical Infrastructures), the University of Oslo (weEnergize consortium), Investinor, LUMO Labs, and TrustNet's industry partners.
