Learning to Action: An ISEED Workshop
Centrepolis Accelerator is proud to partner with SME and the Department of Energy on their ISEED program. Join us in person or virtually for a working session that covers the intersection of learning to action. We will discuss a variety of techniques including formal and informal learning, matched to curated learning pathways from Tooling U-SME and other trusted sources. In the afternoon your team turns that into a written plan that scopes project needs alongside learning development for a variety of topics, learning levels and operational roles.

9:30 How manufacturers learn A working session led by Duane from Tooling U-SME: formal training versus on-the-job learning, what competency really means, and why the same subject has to be taught differently to a new hire and a twenty-year lead.

10:30 Hands-on learning Work through real learner cases in the ISEED Navigator, matching learning to a role, levels and goals.
11:15 Learning through leadership. Identifying and working with multiple functions, roles and defining how to build internal champions to meet company goals.
11:45 Learning to action — understanding the problems. We will focus on 4 key topics:
Industry 4.0, Industrial Efficiency, AI for Manufacturing or Electro Technology.
