About Event

Washington DC is one of the few cities where the diplomatic and innovation communities share the same zip codes. This event puts that proximity to work.

Working with Foreign Governments is a conversation for founders, operators, and ecosystem builders who want to understand how to engage international governments as customers, partners, and gateways to new markets.

As part of DMV Deep Tech Week, this event brings together official representatives from France (including the Greater Paris and Lyon regions), the United Kingdom, and Japan to share how their countries think about innovation, where they are actively looking to collaborate, and what it takes for U.S. companies to start building relationships abroad.

The format is practical by design. Attendees will hear short formal presentations from each country, then move into open station conversations for direct, market-specific dialogue with the representatives in the room.

If you are building in defense, aerospace, AI, quantum, energy, autonomy, or any other deep tech sector, this is a direct line to the people and programs shaping how these governments engage with emerging technology.

Come with questions. Leave with a clearer picture of where there may be a fit.
