Opensource Stories - Agentic World
The open-source AI ecosystem is moving incredibly fast. Every week, new agentic frameworks, lightweight SDKs, and tool protocols emerge to challenge closed-source monopolies. But behind every repository is a team of engineers making massive architectural choices in public.
This isn't a conference, and there are no corporate marketing pitches.
Instead, we are inviting the builders, maintainers, and power contributors of open-source agentic tools to stand up and share their real stories. They will walk us through why they started the project, how the architecture works under the hood, the chaos of handling community feature requests, and what it actually takes to build an AI tool in the open.
We have planned a special hands-on challenge during the event, giving every builder an opportunity to showcase their skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
💻 Please bring your laptops, as you’ll need them to participate.
Whether you’re an experienced developer or just getting started with open source and agentic AI, this is your chance to build, learn, collaborate, and prove yourself alongside fellow builders from the community.
The challenge details will be revealed at the venue, so come prepared and ready to ship! 🔥
What to Expect:
Raw Tool Stories: No polished sales slides. Just creators pulling back the curtain on their codebases, detailing why they picked specific abstraction layers, and how they solve the unique chaos of autonomous agents (loops, token burn, and tool calling).
A Mixed Room: Sit alongside core open-source maintainers, local tool builders, and senior engineers actively deploying these architectures in production.
Loose & Organic Format: Structured individual stories give the morning rhythm, while massive open windows give you permission to talk architecture, trade workflows, and network organically.
Event Schedule
05:00 PM: Coffee, snacks and informal mingling, and tool mapping.
05:45 PM: Host Intro: Why the agentic stack belongs to open source.
06:00 PM: OSS Tool Stories (Part 1): Back-to-back deep dives from invited open-source AI tool creators.
06:45 PM: Mid-afternoon break & hallway networking.
07:00 PM: OSS Tool Stories (Part 2): More unscripted creation journeys and architectural breakdowns.
07:45 PM: Open floor Q&A & Community Shoutouts (Built something cool? Tell the room).
08:15 PM: Open Networking & Collaborative Problem Solving.
