​Cursor Workshops are coming to Brisbane!

​Welcome to Brisbane’s first Cursor workshop. We’re bringing together developers, founders, and builders to create a small web app together from scratch.

​This is a hands on session. We will start with three quick, practical Cursor tips from speakers, then spend most of the night building your own small app during a guided sprint with help around the room.

​Sponsored by Responsible AI Australia, who will share a short segment on safe and responsible use of AI coding tools.

​Food, drinks and some cheeky Cursor goodies are included.

​Who this is for

• ​You use Cursor already and want better workflows

• ​You are new to Cursor and want a fast, practical intro

• ​You want to meet other local builders and create something in a single evening

​No need to be a power user. Basic JavaScript and web dev familiarity helps, but the workshop is designed to be friendly for mixed levels.

​What to bring and setup

• ​Laptop and charger

• ​Cursor installed and signed in

• ​Node.js installed (we will run the app locally)

• ​A modern browser (Chrome or similar)

​Optional

• ​Git installed (recommended)

• ​For the optional Vercel deploy: GitHub account and Vercel account

​No worries if you do not have everything installed yet. Tick the setup help question in the signup form and I will send quick install videos for Cursor, Node.js, and Git before the workshop.
