Born in Appanaickenpatti, Coimbatore in 1959. Did his MSc and PhD from Mumbai University in Thyroid Biochemistry. After working for 14 years in BARC, started a business and brand, Thyrocare in 1995. In 2016 it got listed in NSE and in June 2021 he exited Thyrocare when it touched a Billion USD valuation.
