​Join us for a scenic, soul-refreshing hike through one of Atlanta’s most magical hidden gems: the Bamboo Forest at East Palisades! Expect good company, riverside views, and that deep breath kind of peace. ✨

​Feel free to bring a journal if you’d like to reflect mid-hike or during a riverside pause.

​🚗 Parking Plan – Please Read Carefully!

​

​There are two parking options, both accessing the same trail system:

​

​📍 Indian Trail Entrance

​1425 Indian Trail NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30327

​• Closest to the Bamboo Forest 🌿

​• Very limited parking (~30 spots)

​

​📍 Whitewater Creek Entrance

​4058 Whitewater Creek Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30327

​• Larger lot (~46 spots)

​• Better for weekend and group parking

​

​PARKING IS $5!!!!!💸 So either bring cash or be ready to pay via QR code.

​🧭 Day-Of Logistics & Carpool Plan

​

​Hey ladies! I (Jackie) will be arriving at 8:00 AM to scope out parking and will send live updates in the group chat that morning to let you know where to head.

​

​✨ Here’s the plan:

​• Please arrive by 8:45 AM / 9:00 AM latest

​• We’ll adjust based on availability—if one lot is full, we’ll head to the other and carpool toward the trail entrance together

​• Because of parking and it being our first time navigating this trail together, please be patient—we’ll plan to start hiking by 9:30 AM latest, once everyone has arrived

​⏳ Hike Duration:

​Plan for 2–3 hours total—expect to finish by around noon

​

​✅ Journal (optional)

​✅ Comfortable hiking shoes or sneakers
