​~1 Hour Data Nature walk around Roosevelt island!

Are you a data scientist, data engineer, data analyst, data viz designer, data person?

Do you like talking to other data people?

Do you like going outside?!?

Come join us for a walk/hike around Roosevelt island!

We'll do the swamp trail loop, which is approximately 1.5 miles, and usually takes around 45 minutes at a comfortable pace. Wear comfortable walking shoes, but the trail is flat and easy in most places. After the walk, we'll gather at the teddy Roosevelt statue and take a group photo. Afterwards people may go for coffee or food in Rosslyn. Location tbd.

NOTE: IF the National Weather Service forecasts temperature under ~50 degrees or a high change of rain, we will probably cancel.

You are encouraged to wear data /tech swag to make it easier to find other data people.
