Join us for our fireside chat with Saad Siddiqui, who is an AI Policy Researcher at the Safe AI Forum (SAIF).

We'll be diving into topics such as

  • What AI Policy research entails

  • How to build up a career in AI policy

  • The key challenges in implementing AI policy

  • Potential areas for international collaboration

About the speaker:

Saad Siddiqui is an AI Policy Researcher at the Safe AI Forum (SAIF), and an Affiliate at the Martin School AI Governance Initiative at the University of Oxford. Prior to his work at SAIF, Saad was a management consultant at Bain and Company, and a Winter Fellow at the Centre for the Governance of AI, where he focused on identifying areas of potential Sino-western cooperation on AI safety and governance. Saad holds a MA in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University and BA in Politics and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge.

About Safe AI Forum:

The Safe AI Forum (SAIF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit focused on advancing global action and collaboration to minimize extreme AI risks. SAIF’s main program is the International Dialogues on AI Safety (IDAIS), which brings together senior computer scientists and AI governance experts to build international collaboration on these risks. In addition to shepherding the IDAIS program, SAIF also conducts independent research and provides advisory services to other organizations focused on international AI cooperation.
