About Event

The Advanced Cell Therapy Lab (ACTL) at UC San Diego Sanford Advanced Therapy Center (SATC) and Thermo Fisher Scientific invite you to an exclusive workshop and networking session focused on accelerating end-to-end cell therapy workflows for strategic academia-industry collaborations.

Why attend?

The path from discovery to clinic remains one of the biggest bottlenecks in cell and gene therapy, underscoring the need for robust and reproducible cell therapy manufacturing processes as a critical driver for innovation. This workshop addresses some of the most pressing challenges facing the field today:

·      Knowledge gap from discovery to process development (PD) and clinical translation

·      High costs and long timelines for process development

·      Variability in cell gene therapy manufacturing

·      Limited access to robust, validated tools for characterization and analytics

Where – Center for Novel Therapeutics, La Jolla Shores Conference Room

Who – Translational researchers, and cell & gene therapy innovators across academia and industry

What you’ll learn – Together with the UC San Diego ACTL’s deep translational expertise and its strategic partners form Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will learn about the latest innovations that have been specifically designed to support a closed cell therapy manufacturing workflow designed to improve reproducibility, consistency, and scalability.

Participants will gain insight into integrated solutions supporting a closed cell therapy manufacturing workflow, including:

·      Gibco™ CTS™ Rotea™ Counterflow Centrifugation System

·      Gibco™ CTS™ Xenon™ Electroporation System

·      Gibco™ CTS™ DynaCellect™ Magnetic Separation System

·      Gibco™ CTS™ Compleo Fill and Finish System

By reducing manual touchpoints and contamination risk, automated closed workflows can derisk manufacturing processes, improve consistency, and increase the probability of clinical and commercial success. At ACTL, we are providing robust solutions that can help support you and accelerate your path to clinic and commercialization.

Agenda Tuesday, March 3, 9:00 – 4:30pm

9:00 – 9:30am         Check in, mingle
