Technical Leaders Dinner at Takashi
Over the past year, we’ve partnered with some great folks to host a series of small CEO and founder dinners across the states.
Along the way, one thing became clear:
we hadn’t yet created the same kind of room for the technical leaders actually building and operating the systems — the CTOs, engineering leaders, and data/ML operators responsible for scaling real-world infrastructure across industries.
So on May 14th at 6pm, we’re bringing together a small group of those leaders for an 8–10 person dinner at Takashi — one of the best dining experiences in Salt Lake City.
The table will include a mix of:
• CTOs and senior technical leaders
• Directors and VP-level engineering / product operators
• Data, ML, and platform leaders
• Builders working across fintech, defense, AI, ecommerce, and enterprise systems
Many of the guests are responsible for:
• scaling production systems across different stages (early → enterprise)
• building and maintaining data / ML platforms in real environments
• balancing speed, reliability, and complexity in high-stakes systems
• operating within regulated, distributed, or hardware-integrated environments
There’s no agenda — just a great meal and a thoughtful room of peers who are actually doing the work.
These dinners are intentionally small so the conversations can go deeper and everyone leaves with new relationships and a stronger operator network.
And yes — Takashi rips.
