Qoder is an agentic AI coding platform developed by Alibaba that aims to go beyond traditional AI code assistants by understanding and working with real software projects at scale. Launched in August 2025, it has quickly drawn attention for its ambition to support deeper, project-wide reasoning and task automation rather than simple inline completion.

Christian Hu is the Head of Global Marketing & Operations for Qoder, Alibaba’s AI-native coding platform, where he leads global growth and product strategy. With over 12 years of experience across AI, SaaS, and emerging tech, he has helped scale products and teams across China, Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe. Christian previously co-founded MeetA AI and held leadership roles at Style3D, Agiiplus (Distrii), and Cisco, building GTM strategies, partnerships, and global expansion paths for fast-growing tech products. He also writes about China’s AI ecosystem and global AI strategy on his Substack, Christian on China’s AI.
Benjamin Goh is a Senior Assistant Director at the National AI Group and Senior Product Manager at GovTech Singapore, where he drives AI transformation across public sector agencies, spanning AI platforms, software delivery, and system governance. He founded GovTech’s AI Guardian team and led the development of platforms such as Litmus (AI testing) and Sentinel (AI guardrails). He has also helped build the Whole-of-Government Translation API and is currently working with ServiceSG to develop a unified government-to-citizen conversational AI platform. Prior to GovTech, he worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey, advising organizations across Southeast Asia.
