Technology Walk Brampton
CivicTechBrampton hosts the First Inaugural Technology Walk Brampton. We are switching up our meetup format this week and starting with a technology walk. A technology walk helps us better understand the technology around us, including surveillance technologies. Wear walking shoes and bring a weatherproof jacket!
We're inviting all technologists, students, and citizens interested in working on Democracy, Surveillance, and Civic Tech projects. Aarushi and Gurpreet will present Technologists For Democracy. Check out their website here: https://techfordemocracy.ca/. New to Democracy, Surveillance or Civic Tech? You are definitely welcome! We will all be learning from each other. Just knowing what projects people are working on, sparks ideas about new civic tech projects. There will be opportunities to network, and pitch your own project to interested volunteers. Questions: email civictechbrampton@pm.me
