

Series Overview: Innovations in AI from Asia
Our theme for Autumn 2025 is “Innovations in AI from Asia.” Distinguished guest speakers and panels discuss leading edge business and technology innovations coming from Asian companies and research institutions. Planned topics include small language models, the evolution of AI agents and agentic AI, edge computing of AI, energy reduction in AI processing, and innovative approaches to AI for specific applications.
Dr. Richard Dasher, Director of the US-Asia Technology Management Center, will give us the series overview to help kick the seminars off. He'll share his perspectives into current trends in AI innovation and a country- by-country overview of the focus of AI innovation policy and centers of industry interest.
