About Event

With ChatGPT preparing to launch an erotic interaction mode, human–AI relationships are entering an unprecedented phase.

What happens when affection, desire, and sexuality are simulated through algorithms?

How does this reshape the way we relate to both machines and to each other?

And most importantly: what emotional, ethical, and societal risks emerge when intimacy is mediated by systems designed not to feel, but to engage?

In this special session (the first-ever meeting of The AI Collective’s Resident Philosophers) we will dive into:

  • How emotional companionship has evolved into the simulation of desire

  • Psychological and social impacts of erotic engagement with AI

  • New risks: dependency, manipulation, emotional vulnerability, and “programmed intimacy”

  • Ethical challenges for designers, therapists, policymakers, and society at large

  • The future of digital intimacy — and how we can navigate it safely and consciously
