MoF Live! The Death of Stalin with Max Hess

Behold film and politics lovers - The Ministry of Film is going LIVE!

Join us for the first live recording of the Ministry of Film podcast, the podcast about the art and politics of classic films. We will discuss 'The Death of Stalin', the 2017 film from Armando Ianucci about, well, the death of Stalin, and the hilarious (terrifying) events that followed it.

Hosts Robin McGhee and Carolina Saludes will ramble through it all, accompanied by author, Russia expert and friend of the pod Maximilian Hess.

Max will present his new book Tbilisi, a 'A kaleidoscopic portrait of Georgia’s capital city since 1989'. Couldn't be more prescient and relevant to the chat.

There will be drinks, a Q&A for those keen to appear on the pod, and of course a book signing with Max! To fund all this, and since we're just two people with a mic and a big dream, we will collect a £5 ticket fee at the door, to pay the good people at the Book Elephant for their time.

We can't wait to see you all there!
