A World Environment Day Community Evening
Join founders, creatives, runners, sustainability enthusiasts, operators, makers and neighbours from across Berlin for an evening of connection, movement, food and good conversations.
To celebrate World Environment Day, we're bringing people together for a neighbourhood clean-up around Neukölln, followed by drinks, food, short talks and a relaxed community gathering.
Start with the clean-up or join later for the community gathering. Either way, everyone comes together afterwards.
What to expect
🌍 Celebrate World Environment Day with Berlin's community
🤝 Meet people from startups, sustainability, design, mobility, circular economy and local initiatives
🏃 Join the clean-up as part of a running crew, walking group or cycling group and choose your own pace - or skip & join from 19:30 onwards for drinks, food, talks and conversations
🎁 Clean-up participants can win: An upcycled piece from MOOT; A €100 repair voucher from FixFirst; A one-year Circular Berlin membership

Why we're doing this
Every year, World Environment Day brings millions of people together around one simple idea: positive action starts locally. The United Nations created the day to encourage communities, organisations and individuals to take action and celebrate progress towards a healthier planet.
We wanted to use the occasion to celebrate that spirit together in a way that feels practical, social and local.
One hour of action. A cleaner neighbourhood. New connections. Good conversations. And hopefully the beginning of new collaborations, friendships and ideas.
Limited spots
We're limiting the evening to around 80 participants to keep it personal and make it easy to connect.

Location
MOOT - Juliusstraße 64, 12051 Berlin (U Grenzallee)
Outdoor area, showroom, kitchen and offices are all open to us. Parking available. Indoor space if it rains, so come rain or shine.
What we provide
Bag drop, clean-up bags, gloves, food, drinks and good vibes. Just bring yourself, comfortable clothes, and a refillable water bottle if you have one.
Participation & responsibility
By joining, you participate at your own risk and take full responsibility for your safety and belongings. The organisers and MOOT can't be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage. Please follow road and traffic rules during the clean-up, look out for yourself and each other, and use the gloves provided when handling waste.
