Voices of Europe 2026: Every Border Has a Sound

Europe has dozens of border regions where languages, cultures and identities meet, overlap and too often quietly disappear. Voices of Europe puts those voices on a shared stage for a full week in Oulu, with digital storytelling, live performance, panels, roundtables, living library sessions and exhibitions.
It’s organised by the Bothnian Arc Association with the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR), as part of the Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture programme.
It’s an open-floor event. Walk in, move between rooms and join whatever catches your ear. Come for one session or all seven days. Selected sessions are also streamed online. Register here to get your spot and updates.
