Rise & Ship: From Microbakery to Micro-SaaS
In 2021, I started baking bad bread. And every single weekend, I contributed to my neighborhood gatherings. My neighbors kept asking for more, so I kept baking and iterating. Loaf by loaf it got better, until a blind taste test against commercial bakeries ended with mine on top. A few Instagram posts later, I had a microbakery, and neighbors were paying me for bread.
Years later, I taught my daughter to learn to bake the same way: YouTube tutorials, dense cakes, and steady iteration. At age 13, she's a fantastic baker. And then around the same time, I went deep into AI and launched my own agency and a few other ideas that are 'still proofing'.
This talk is part origin story, part practical recipe, part inspiration. We’ll cover creating and sharing and launching things before you’re ready, building with your community, using 'taste tests' to validate / iterate. You'll walk away feeling good that your first batch is supposed to be bad.
