Future of Philanthropy: Reflections + Salon Conversations with GPF
About the session
Following its 2026 Leaders Summit, the Global Philanthropy Forum is bringing the energy, insights, and connections from that gathering into Skoll Week, in partnership with The Sidebar, with the aim of sustaining momentum and advancing the next chapter of global philanthropy.
The Summit convened a highly senior and globally diverse group of philanthropic leaders, representing 45 countries and institutions with a combined charitable budget of $23.7 billion. With the majority of participants in C-suite roles and holding direct funding authority, the conversations created space for bold thinking, cross-sector collaboration, and action-oriented dialogue.
This session builds on that foundation.
It is designed as a continuation, not a recap, creating space to deepen engagement, connect new and returning participants, and explore how the ideas and relationships emerging from the Summit can translate into concrete next steps.
Through dialogue and exchange, participants will reflect on how philanthropy can operate more strategically and collaboratively in a world defined by complexity and interdependence.
