About Event
Join us for a 90-minute studio visit with artist Lizzy Gabay, where we’ll spend time with her paintings and learn more about the materials, ideas, and process behind her work.
Born in New York, Gabay lives and works in New York City. Her paintings move between figuration and abstraction, examining memory, motion, and the subtle interplay between presence and absence. Through depictions of figures and familiar environments, her work considers spaces as sites of entanglement and transformation.
Gabay received an MFA from Bard College and a BA in Fine Art from University of Southern California. Recent solo exhibitions include Paradise at Winter Street Gallery and Still Towns at Entrance NYC.
