​Last month we sat with 15 finance leaders in London — CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance — and spent two hours cutting through the AI noise. No "future of finance" slides. Just the questions people actually wanted to ask.

​We covered why most finance teams are still using AI as a chat tool when the real value sits inside the workflows. Why Accounts Payable is the sharpest place to prove ROI in week one. What it actually looks like when an invoice arrives, AI reads it, matches the PO, routes the approval, and posts to the ERP — without anyone touching it. And why dropping AI on top of broken processes never works.
