Before SF Tech Week turns into a sprint, we start somewhere else.
Sunday 4 October, the day before it all begins. Twenty minutes of breathing and stretching, in whatever you turn up in. Then brunch at one long table, and a morning you will not get anywhere else that week.
Who will be in the room:
- Founders building ambitious companies in health, and trying to stay sharp while they do it.
- Investors backing the future of health, asking some of the same questions about their own.
- Clinicians and researchers who understand the system better than most, and still know how personal it gets.
- Health obsessives tracking bloodwork, wearables and sleep, working out what actually matters.
Some people in the room are building the future of health. Some are funding it. Some are treating patients. Some just want to understand themselves better.
What comes up when you put them at one table: what an agent should be allowed to read and what it should never decide. Who owns the record once the record finally works. What you think is five years out and what is already quietly here.
And the question nobody at a conference asks you, which is how you are, actually.
