Taking Up Space - Gallery Hop

​Looking for a curated art experience? You’ve found it.

​On May 14th, Taking Up Space NYC will be hosting a gallery hop in Chelsea during NYC Community Week.

​An itinerary will be shared the day before (Wed, May 13th by 8pm) listing a meeting spot and 3-4 galleries we'll visit as a group. Afterward, we'll go to The Tippler to mingle and talk about the art. Included in your ticket is a drink discount on a cocktail made just for our community.

​Taking Up Space NYC is a community reimagining how we experience art together, with inclusivity and intention. Because cultural spaces belong to all of us.

​Through curated gallery hops, museum visits, and community gatherings, we center minority artists and minority-owned galleries while fostering meaningful connection beyond traditional art spaces.
