What is TechMeetup?
TechMeetup is a monthly gathering for Scotland’s tech community. It’s a friendly, informal event where anyone interested in technology can meet, learn, and share. Each event includes free drinks, pizza, and time to connect with others. The meetup is organised by volunteers from within the community.

Speaker
Dr Ana Rojo-Echeburua is Head of AI at DataVita, Scotland’s largest and greenest data centre. Her work sits at the intersection of AI strategy, infrastructure, implementation, governance, and adoption, internally, for customers, and for Scotland's wider community.
Her love of problem-solving began with mathematics. She holds a degree and master's specialising in differential geometry, and a PhD on applications of smooth and discrete moving frames, before moving into world of data and AI. Since then she has worked across education, hands-on engineering and leadership roles, built her own ventures, and partnered with founders and businesses to deliver AI initiatives with measurable impact.
A dedicated educator and speaker, Ana also hosts The AI Frame Podcast, interviewing founders, investors, and innovators shaping the future of AI.
