Lamp Shade Making Workshop

​Give an old lamp a second life.

​Join us for a hands-on afternoon of making, where you’ll create your own lampshade using tree-free, recycled cotton paper. From block-printed Indian designs to hand-marbled surfaces, you’ll have multiple patterns to choose from.

​If you have a lamp base at home, you’re welcome to bring it along and design a shade specifically for it. Or simply create something new and find the right place for it later.

​The session is guided by Amsterdam-based designer Natalie, who will take you through the process — from choosing your paper to assembling your finished lamp. All materials are provided, including the frame, so you can focus on experimenting and enjoying the making.

​Expect a creative afternoon with good materials, satisfying hands-on work, and the quiet joy of seeing something come together piece by piece.
