About Event

Join Chayn during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence to explore why encryption matters for feminist work. This interactive two-hour workshop is for anyone working or volunteering with feminist organisations - whether on the frontline or in policy and advocacy roles.

No prior experience with encryption? No problem, we’ll learn together!

What you’ll do:

  • Understand encryption and why it matters for feminist organisations.

  • Explore how encryption can support your work, whether you work on reproductive health, gender-based violence, equal rights, or LGBTQ+ rights.

  • Learn about current encryption policy debates and how you can get involved.

Come ready to participate, ask questions, and share ideas - we’ll learn, ideate, and connect together!

Want to find out more about encryption as a feminist issue? Check out our policy brief and white paper on the topic.
