Join the City of Miami's Department of Economic Innovation and Development for the next Train Local, Hire Local Quarterly Employer Luncheon on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Jose Marti Park hosted with Commissioner Rolando Escalona.

Train Local, Hire Local is a workforce initiative designed to connect Venture Miami Scholarship recipients to employment opportunities.

This luncheon will bring together scholarship recipients, employers, education partners, workforce partners, and City leadership to continue building Miami’s local talent pipeline and expanding pathways to economic opportunity.

Participants will receive updates on the Train Local, Hire Local platform, learn how to engage with local talent, and provide feedback to help shape the continued development of the initiative.

Who Should Attend:
Scholarship recipients, employer partners, hiring managers, education partners, workforce providers, and stakeholders interested in supporting Miami’s local workforce.
