AI strategy lunch & learn (quarterly huddle)
βHey everyone! π
βFor our next AI Strategy Quarterly Lunch & Learn we're hosting a fireside chat with Melissa Reeve, author of Hyperdaptive: Re-wiring the Organization to Become AI-Native.
βIf you've been wrestling with how to move your organization beyond "random acts of AI" and toward real transformation, this conversation is going to hit.
βWhat we're covering:
βDynamic governance vs. static policies β Why documenting AI policies and rolling them out might actually be holding you back
βCross-functional integration β The structures and habits that block adoption (and what to do instead)
βContinuous learning as infrastructure β How to replace the "send people to a course" mindset with real organizational learning loops
βLeading as women without formal AI titles β Practical advice for driving AI initiatives through influence when you don't have the authority
βWe'll do the fireside conversation and afterward, we'll open up Q&A so you can dig into whatever's most relevant to your situation.
βDon't worry if you missed previous sessions β everyone's welcome!

βA group of WDAI members who are coming together to share notes on putting together an AI strategy for their organizations in 2025. We had a great first huddle (see notes in #topic-ai-strategy) and the group decided to host a quarterly session to sync up on their latest insights and work on all things AI strategy and policy related for their organizations.
Don't worry if you missed the prior sessions.

Original discussion starter questions:
βAnyone have any resources that might be helpful?
Has anyone done this already and would be willing to chat about what went over well, and what didn't? (Happy to buy coffee or lunch)βEven if you haven't done this and are in the same boat, happy to put something together for us to discuss.

Lunch & learns are a GREAT way to pull together an informal group of members to jam on an AI related topic, share resources and insights, and collaborate. If you're ever interested in spinning one up, PLEASE JUST DO! We'd love to see more members organize these on their own, and we will happily support + add it to the calendar, etc.
