​Closing the gap between robotics research and the factory floor.

​The UK has world-class robotics research and one of the lowest robot densities in the developed world. That gap is the whole problem, and it is what this day is about.

​We are bringing together the people working on both sides of it: the integrators and distributors putting robots into real plants, the policy and funding bodies shaping what gets built, and the researchers pushing what robots can actually do. One room, one day, no marketing theatre.

​Who is speaking

​Oliver Selby (Head of Sales, FANUC UK and Chairman of BARA) and Ross Lacy (Sales Director, RARUK Automation) on what is really holding back adoption. Peter Williamson (Policy Director) and Laurie Barnes (CTO) from Automate UK on the national picture and the technical one. A representative from ARIA on where the funding is pointing. Sebastian Andraos (CEO, Hal Robotics) on making robots programmable by people who are not roboticists plus Dr Stephen James (Imperial College London, Neuracore) and Karol Janik (Robotics and Automation Technology Manager) from MTC.

​The day closes with a panel, 'Closing the Gap', moderated by Neuracore, with every speaker on stage and the floor open to the room.
