After School Clay Club Ages 8 - 13

​Discovering Clay: A 5-Week Pottery Adventure! 🏺

​Looking for a creative after-school escape? Join local artist Polly in her relaxed, sun-filled studio every Thursday for a hands-on journey into the world of ceramics.

​This club is open to children aged 8-13 and no previous experience in pottery is needed. You’ll learn the magic of turning a lump of clay into a masterpiece. From pinching and coiling to sculpting and decorating, you'll create beautiful pieces to keep or gift to someone special. All materials are included and aprons will be provided.

• ​When: Thursdays, 18th June – 16th July 2026

• ​Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM

• ​Who: Taught by Polly (BA Fine Art, Qualified TA, DBS checked) with a dedicated assistant to support every student.

• ​The Vibe: Creative, calm, and fun—complete with a squash-and-biscuit break to admire our progress!

​Please note: Clay is a natural material! While we aim for perfection, small cracks and imperfections are part of the handmade charm. Collection of some pieces will be arranged after the course has ended.
