Harvest Reading Series: Jade Song, Tony Hao, Ahry Jeon, Stine An
Harvest is a reading series that is interested in creative friendships, and in how our kinships with other artists nourish/shape/change/challenge/sustain our work, our practices, and our living.
Borrowing its name from a line by Gwendolyn Brooks (“we are each other’s harvest: we are each other’s business: we are each other’s magnitude and bond”), Harvest invites one featured reader to invite a reader to feature alongside them. The invited reader in turn invites another reader, who invites another, creating a line-up of four readers whose works will intersect, interplay and interact in ways old and new.

Harvest is held at Accent Sisters and curated by Publishing Fellow Laetitia Keok.
🌱 About the Readers
Jade Song is a writer, filmmaker, and artist whose award-winning debut novel Chlorine has been translated into multiple languages. Song’s second novel, I Love You Don’t Die is forthcoming in March 2026 and her short story collection, Ox Ghost Snake Demon, will be published in spring 2027. She pole dances and lives with too many books.
Tony Hao is a New Haven-based Chinese-to-English literary translator and writer. Authors he has worked with include Taiwanese novelist Tong Wei-Ger 童偉格, Chinese essayist and poet Xiao Hai 小海, Taiwanese transgender poet and writer Liu Chen-Chun 劉宸君, and Chinese short story writer Ban Yu 班宇. His words have appeared in Granta, The Georgia Review, The Common, The Offing, MAYDAY Magazine, and elsewhere. He has received support from the Granum Foundation Translation Prize, Art Omi Writers: Translation Lab, the Vermont Studio Center, and elsewhere.
Ahry Jeon is a translator and writer based in Brooklyn whose work has been supported by the American Literary Translators Association, Art Omi, Bread Loaf, and the Literature Translation Institute of Korea. Her latest translation appears in The Southern Review (Summer 2025).
Stine An (@gregorspamsa) is a poet, translator, and performer in NYC whose work explores diasporic poetics, experimental translation, and virtual performance. Her poems and translations appear in Best Literary Translations, Poem-a-Day, Poetry Daily, Words Without Borders, and more. A 2024 NEA Translation Fellow, Stine is the author of S_MMER CR_SH (Sarabande Books, 2025) and the translator of Today’s Morning Vocabulary by Yoo Heekyung (Zephyr Press, 2025).
