PostgreSQL Ireland - Community Launch Meetup

Join the launch of PostgreSQL Ireland, a community for PostgreSQL users, database engineers, developers and open-source enthusiasts across Ireland.

This first gathering is about meeting fellow community members, sharing ideas and deciding what we'd like to build together.

There will be informal introductions, an open discussion about the future of the community, ideas for future meetups, and time to connect with other PostgreSQL enthusiasts.

No presentations are planned for this first meetup — the focus is on building connections and shaping the community. Technical talks and workshops are planned for early 2027.

Who should attend?

• PostgreSQL users and database administrators

• Database developers and engineers

• People interested in PostgreSQL internals and performance

• Anyone interested in open-source databases and contributing to the community

Date: Saturday, 28 November 2026
Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Location: Dublin city centre (venue to be confirmed)
