About Event

As the climate crisis intensifies, so does the urgency to implement climate solutions we already have.

In this Reimagine Resilience session, Pradeep Angiras will introduce En-Roads, a world-renowned simulator which synthesizes the best available science and research about how our energy consumption, technology, and land use choices can shape our climate. In this demo, climate impacts will be localized to Nova Scotia. We will propose solutions and see them tested in real time.

Developed by Climate Interactive and MIT Sloan, En-ROADS is being used by policymakers, businesses, educators, the media, and the public to support climate conversations, policy and advocacy.

Pradeep Angiras is a civil engineer and independent sustainability consultant specializing in net zero building certification and green building standards implementation. His company’s expertise includes energy modeling, building envelope design, embodied carbon assessment, and net zero pathway development for residential and commercial buildings in Atlantic Canada. Pradeep serves as technical advisor and thought leader in advancing net zero certification methodologies and market adoption. He created Building Green Made Simple, an open-access guide that translates sound green-building science into practical, costed steps for homeowners, renters, community educators, and small businesses across six climate zones and 500+ cities.

Pradeep grew up in the mighty but climate-fragile Himalayas, where the effects of a changing climate were visible early. He approaches his work with attention to people, context, and the realities of getting things built. Pradeep is a participant in How We Thrive's 2026 Climate Resilience Leadership Journey.
