About Event

Join us for the first Neo4j virtual workshop for the Kenya AI Challenge.

In this hands-on session, you will be introduced to graph databases, graph theory, Neo4j fundamentals, and the basics of reading and writing data using Cypher. You will learn how graph databases represent connected information and why this matters for AI-powered solutions, especially when your project depends on relationships between people, organizations, products, farms, markets, locations, or financial data.

You will also work through a practical data modeling and import session using the Northwind dataset. This will help you understand how to structure data inside Neo4j, import real datasets, and start thinking about how graph databases can support your hackathon prototype.

By the end of the workshop, you should understand the basics of Neo4j, how graph databases work, and how to start using graph technology in your Kenya AI Challenge project.
