​A lo‑fi zine club in Inverness to start your week! And a spin-off from the Highland Zine Bothy!

​Inversneckie Zine Scene is a welcoming, low‑pressure evening for making zines together. There will be prompts, paper, glue sticks, big questions, wee drawings, collage chaos, and a room full of people making things after work.

​A zine (short for magazine / fanzine) is a small self‑published booklet. Zines have a long DIY history, people making and sharing their own work outside of traditional publishing. They can be funny, heartfelt, political, personal, messy, beautiful… whatever you want them to be.

​Zines and risograph printing sometimes overlap because they share the same spirit (small‑run publishing, bold colour and joyful imperfections) but you don’t need any riso knowledge to come along. This is about making and sharing space.

​It’s also BYOB (bring your own beverage — alcoholic or non‑alcoholic). We’ll have tea, coffee, and water available too. All materials are provided (paper, pens, scissors, glue, collage bits, and more). Bring your own extras if you fancy. Oh, and of course, feel free to bring your own snacks too!
