Every proptech product sits on a stack, market, product, data, and law, that most founders don't see until it breaks. And in Dubai, that stack shifts fast: a market rewriting itself every quarter, and a rulebook evolving just as quickly, from DLD and RERA to VARA, tokenization frameworks, and the UAE's new data regime. In this session, we will unpack both sides. The market forces shaping what gets built, where the opportunities are, what's working, what's noise, and the legal stack that decides whether it actually ships, scales, and survives. Expect real Dubai examples, candid takes, and a practical map founders and operators can take home.
Speaker 1: Rita El Am, Senior Associate at Airut, a leading regional law firm advising some of the most active VCs, founders, and high-growth startups across the MENA ecosystem, with deep experience at the intersection of technology, real estate, and emerging regulation, including proptech.
Speaker 2: Siddiq Farid, Managing Director of Reach Me, brings over 15 years of experience and is a recognized thought leader in PropTech. As Founder and former CEO of SmartCrowd, he led the launch of the Middle East’s first regulated digital real estate investment platform.
