NYC AI Church Hackathon

​Church leaders are increasingly open to AI, but they need tools that serve pastors without replacing the human elements of ministry. This hackathon will bring together some of NYC’s top technologists: developers, product managers, UX/UI designers, & data/ML specialists to design and prototype solutions that accelerate church planting and strengthen local churches.

​During our day together, we’ll form teams, hear challenges from pastors and planters, & build working prototypes that could be piloted in churches across NYC and potentially beyond.

​Who Should Join:

• ​Developers, designers, product managers, data/ML engineers, and marketers eager to build with purpose

• ​Builders who want to explore trustworthy and redemptive AI use cases for the Church

• ​Anyone in tech who wants to use their skills to make an impact in ministry and technology

• ​9:30-10: Pitches from challenge owners 

• ​10-11: Discover: Team Formation & Prayerful Lament 

• ​11-12: Discern: Solution Mapping

• ​12-12:30 Lunch break 

• ​12:30-12:45 Worship 

• ​12:45-4:30 Develop: Co-create solutions with the Holy Spirit

• ​4:30-5:00: Demonstrate: Prepare Demos; (5:00pm is when Development Stops.)

• ​5:15-5:45: Demo Pitches + Food 

• ​5:45-6:00: Clarify Next Steps; Pray and Commission 

​We'll provide high-quality food all-day and lots of coffee. Let's bless the church together.

​Ideal Outcomes:

• ​3-5 prototypes designed for real-world piloting

• ​Several pastors actively engaged in providing feedback

• ​30 builders max (capped to keep teams strong and focused)
