​The VC Insights & Innovation Showcase connects the Greater Grand Rapids region’s top innovators with venture capitalists, angel investors, corporate innovation leaders, and business executives during Tech Week Grand Rapids.

This signature event will feature 5 Technology & Innovation Companies from the region, who will present their cutting-edge solutions and growth stories on stage to a curated audience of investors and industry leaders. Our keynote will be Nathan Owen, General Partner at Grand Ventures, who will share the story of building Bindplane (formerly called Blue Medora) in Grand Rapids and the lessons learned along the way. Having remained close to the company, he’ll also reflect on its continued growth and recent exit, offering a founder’s perspective on building enduring technology companies in the Midwest.
