​👤 Bios:
Ben Gomes, Chief Technologist for Learning and Sustainability at Google, oversees teams harnessing AI to benefit society through education and climate action. As one of Google's first principal engineers and an early Google Fellow, he worked on Search for over 20 years before leading initiatives including Google Classroom, Google Scholar, and AI-based literacy tools. Born in Tanzania and raised in India, he holds a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley.

​Francis X. Suarez, the 33rd Mayor of Miami and the city's first Miami-born mayor, previously served as President of the US Conference of Mayors. Elected with 86% support, he focuses on elevating quality of life through technology innovation, transportation, affordable housing, and crime reduction. A University of Florida law graduate, he practices corporate and real-estate law at Greenspoon Marder.

​Madeline Pumariega made history as the first female president of Miami Dade College, the institution she attended as a student-athlete. Previously serving as the first female and Hispanic chancellor of the Florida College System, she led strategies that helped Florida rank #1 in higher education by US News Report. With over 20 years at MDC and a passion for educational accessibility, she champions pathways for upward economic mobility through education.
