Art Machine Makerthon (48 Stunden NK)
Code meets craft: you've only got 48 hours to work as a team and combine code with fabrication to develop an art-producing machine!
We're hosting our annual hackathon on the weekend of 48 Stunden Neukölln! Drawing robots, hardware-hacked plotters, wild experiments —anything goes!
It's free to attend, and open to first-timers to and experienced-makers. The best projects win merch and FabLab funding! And as part of our collaboration with the festival, feel free to check out our Basement Art Exhibition and Garden Bar on Saturday.
Program:
(Optional) Friday 20th June 2pm - 3pm — Tech-intro and brainstorming session; pick groups
Friday 27th June 2pm-10pm — Plan and start projects
Saturday 28th June 10am-10pm — Hack
Sunday 29th June 10am-2pm — Hack and Presentation
⚠️ Some of the machinery in the FabLab may be dangerous, and all participants are required to sign a liability waiver before attending.

About FabLab Neukölln
The FabLab Neukölln is a collaboration powered by 42berlin and workish.berlin. It’s a maker space, creative workshop, and hardware lab, right here in Neukölln.
The 150sqm FabLab is split into two. A dirt lab with woodworking and metal working equipment, perfect for making dust and loud noises. Across the hall, you’ll find a clean lab equipped with a 3D printer, laser cutter, and textile lab where your electronics or more delicate projects can come to life.
Our space was created to provide fair access to equipment, training, and community for students, experienced makers, and garage inventors alike. What will you come up with? Apply for the next onboarding session.
