Postcards + Polenta: Turning Out Climate Voters for the Midterms
Join us turn out climate voters in the upcoming midterm elections! We have a stack of 300 postcards and we need your help to write personalized messages that will encourage environmentalist voters to get to the polls.
We'll share a meal, ground ourselves in Jewish wisdom, go over the postcard writing plan, and then get to writing.
This event is a collaboration with Dayenu - a Jewish organization building a movement to confront the climate crisis - and the Environmental Voter Project - a nonpartisan campaign working in 21 states to get environmentalists to the polls.

Dinner will be provided - just plan to arrive by 6 so that you can eat before we start writing postcards at 6:30.

COVID AND AIR: Masks are optional but encouraged at this event. Windows will be open, multiple air filters on. We have an uncovered deck and big backyard with tables and chairs for anyone who would prefer to eat outside.
Please stay home if you are feeling at all sick, and/or if you've had a Covid exposure in the past week. Thank you for helping to keep us all healthy! House is low-scent/mostly natural/essential oils, but not scent-free.
THE SPACE: The house has 12 steps to the front door, and about 10 to the back door. There is a wheelchair-accessible path to the backyard which has both concrete and grass. The backyard is uncovered.
