Introduction to LLMs
Workshop Agenda
Join us for a focused, hands-on session to explore the foundational components of LLMs. We will break down the evolution of modeling techniques and build practical experience.
Topics:
Evolution of Language Modeling Techniques
Theory behind LLMs
Neural Architectures: RNNs and Transformers
Who is this for?
This course is designed for recent graduates, software developers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, and anyone curious about language models. Whether your goal is to integrate existing models into applications or to train your own, you’ll find practical guidance alongside theoretical foundations.
Experience writing code in Python programming language.
College-level math knowledge is helpful, but we will cover the necessary concepts in class. All mathematical concepts will be presented in an intuitive, visual manner.
Familiarity with PyTorch and tensors is beneficial but not mandatory.
Why is it free?
This is a free teaser to collect feedback for our multi-day LLM Bootcamp: From Fundamentals to Multimodal. This comprehensive course guides participants through the evolution of language modeling technologies, beginning with machine learning fundamentals and advancing to cutting-edge multimodal systems. Students will explore the theoretical underpinnings of language models while gaining practical experience with neural architectures like RNNs and Transformers.
Who is teaching?
Meet Mayank Malik, adjunct professor at Texas Tech University and ex-Stanford.
Meet Rahil Bhatnagar, ex-Global Director of AI products at BEES.
