Joon x Beitna Susty Bus Babes

​Dear Community, Join us!

​We are bringing back our bus tours for the summer, but this time with a twist. Instead of a tour, we will have a hands-on zine workshop with a musical experience by our co-hosts Beitna - Austin’s home for SWANA arts & culture.

During our journey on the red line, we will be welcomed with music by Reema Barakat and Danny Kodeih. They will be playing Arabic classics with oud and percussion.

​Meet at Cosmic Saltillo for 30 minutes to learn about the 2035 Transit Plan, learn how to make a zine, and then, from there, we will head to Plaza Saltillo for a 22-minute ride up north to continue our craft with musicians before we head back.

​Schedule:

• ​11:30 am-12 pm - Meet at Cosmic Saltillo

• ​Walk over at 12 pm to catch the northbound red line from Plaza Statillo at 12:15 pm (5-minute walk)

• ​Head to Crestview Station (15 minutes total)

• ​Catch the southbound redline back down at 12:49 pm (waiting 19 minutes at Fat Cats Cafe)

• ​Head back to Plaza Saltillo, which is another 15-minute ride
