​Join us on Oct 1st at UTC 14:00 for a talk on  “An Introduction to the Caribbean Wildlife Enforcement Network (CAR-WEN) Working Group” by Mark Gibson who is the Lead Coordinator of the Caribbean Wildlife Enforcement Network (CAR-WEN) Working Group and serves as Initiatives Director at Sustainable Innovation Initiatives (SII), a U.S. and Trinidad and Tobago-based nonprofit organisation. A criminologist specialising in wildlife crime, Mark brings over 15 years of experience in criminological research and sustainable development across Latin America and the Caribbean. He holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
